The food was great, the service was great and the but price was good, But, it's not at the Ruby level for being an experience. When I'm paying top dollar for a meal, I want the experience to memorable. We'll go back, but for the food.

This is white tablecloth steakhouse in Westwood (Cincy). The hostess quickly sat us at our table, we did have a reservation. Our waitress, Elisa came & greeted us & got our drink order. Bar service was quick (2-3 minutes). Elisa took our order & answering any question we had. Then she brought us the house made warm rosemary bread with butter. It was absolutely delicious. We ordered the NY strip (medium) with asparagus & fingerling potatoes & the tomahawk pork chop with whipped potatoes & elote creamed corn. The NY strip was cooked perfect with an awesome seared flavor. The fingerling potatoes were very tasty & grilled. The asparagus was tender & cooked to perfection. The tomahawk pork chop was amazing. It was tender, juicy & full of flavor. It was seated on top of the whipped potatoes & drizzled with a cherry sauce. The elote creamed corn was unique & tasty. It had sweet cornbread crumbles in it which put a unique spin on the standard elote corn. We were too full for dessert, although I would have loved to try their carrot cake, considering they have a house pastry chef. The restaurant was busy but noise level was low with talking. It was elegant & a nice place for a date or special occasion. There was a baby grand piano but no musician to play it, they did have an automatic player on it. I'm assuming there must be live music of some days, there was a tip jar on top the piano.

Pricey but the food was excellent. The server was attentive but not bothersome. The place was clean, with live instrumental piano music. Great place to splurge on yourself or impress someone special.

Looking for steakhouse that's above average in the area? No, it's not Carlo & Johnny, nor Eddie Merlot's. It's Ivory House. Of the three choices, Ivory House surpasses in just about every way, from decor to ambience to service to food, it outshines them all. Decor/ambiance: eclectic, fun, unstuffy. The pianist was fantastic! Service: amazing! Elise was truly wonderful and genuine. Did a great job, especially of noticing things i.e. in the kitchen brought out croutons on a salad when they weren't supposed to or an iced tea not getting filled; she was even able to tell which of the two drinks I had I preferred more! She seems like someone everyone would want to hang out with! Food: Ivory House delivered a near perfect meal from start to finish. Appetizers - shrimp cocktail, bruschetta, and hummus were all beautifully plated and had great detail, like a charred lemon with the shrimp. The cocktail sauce tasted housemaid, and there was a nice zing to the hummus. Would have been nice to have the option of getting vegetables with hummus instead of pita... It wasn't on the menu, but I have a feeling if we asked, they would've made it happen. Salad - Caesar salad was perfect, everything in it was the correct amount. I enjoyed the pickled onions! Mains & Sides - my husband's steak came with most beautifully ginormous pad of garlic herb butter on it. The one bite of it I had was melty heaven. His brussels sprouts had good flavor, though he was disappointed in the amount of asparagus he received. My duck confit was so well balanced, I would be happy to order it again and again. Though I would've liked a few more beets on the plate, the flavor of the parsnip purée with the berry gastique was chef's kiss. It was like elevated Thanksgiving comfort food. Dessert - The seasonal cheesecake, salted caramel, looked decadent and delightful, and also like it could be shared between 2 to 3 people. I ordered two of the gelato/sorbet flavors, the strawberry lemon I could've done without, it needed more lemon, but the lemon basil was a sleeper hit! Sounds weird, I know right? I think it would be perfectly refreshing at the end of a meal, particularly in the warmer months. Oh and they had GLUTEN FREEE BREAD FOR THE TABLE! I have never seen a restaurant actually have a gluten-free offering for this! All in all, Ivory House is a classy but low key restaurant that is worth the drive!

We were here on a Thursday night, parking is easy, and they have a parking lot. When we walked in, no people at the reception desk, so we waited a little bit. Finally got the girl to lead us to our reserved table. The inside decor is modern and nice, ambience is inviting. We got to learn that Thursday night is the prime rib night. So we decided to try it. Wow, the portion is huge, i never seen restaurant serve such big meat portion. It's is very tasty and well seasoned. The side dish is also very well cooked and tastes excellent. My only complaint is the steak knife, it's sooo dull and eventually i give up eating the steak. The dessert is really nice! Love the place but i hope they can upgrade their steak knives!

We visited Ivory House for Sunday brunch. Another great dining experience. The menu was compact but had something for everyone. Great brunch type drinks. The pricing for all was reasonable as well.

Ivory House is my favorite west side secret. The food and ambiance here are top notch! They have daily specials, Wednesday is my favorite (salad, filet mignon, 2 sides and cinnamon roll for $50). The customer service is impeccable. My go to is the filet, Mac and cheese and Brussels! You can NEVER go wrong with that! The pork chop is a close second. Never leave this place without dessert! The warm cinnamon roll and ice cream is the perfect end cap, even if you have to take it to go!
